Effective 12 September 2026

Your household numbers are private. Here is exactly what happens to them.

MoneyMap needs personal financial context to calculate household risks. We collect only what the calculation and account need, encrypt saved answers, and do not sell them or use them to advertise financial products.

Who is responsible

MoneyMap is operated under AppCradle by Matheswaran Rajasekar. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to appcradledevs@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, an AppCradle Auth user identifier, session information, country, currency and browser time zone.

The answers you choose to give. Household relationships and age bands; who earns or depends on income; broad income, essential-expense, cash, debt and goal amounts; reported health, life and income protection; action notes; reminder choices; and the plan produced from those facts. MoneyMap does not ask for names of household members, PAN, Aadhaar, bank login details, account numbers, transaction history or medical records.

Payment status. MoneyMap receives the minimum customer and payment information needed to confirm whether Pro access is active. Card and payment-method details are entered on Dodo Payments' checkout and do not pass through MoneyMap.

Service and security information. Hosting and authentication services may process IP addresses, request times, browser/device details, error information and security logs needed to deliver and protect the service.

Why we use it

  • To create your account, save progress and let you return.
  • To calculate, explain and update the household risk brief you requested.
  • To provide Pro access after a purchase and deal with refunds or disputes.
  • To send reminders only when you explicitly turn them on.
  • To prevent abuse, diagnose failures, secure accounts and meet legal obligations.
  • To understand public-page usability through Microsoft Clarity only after you choose “Allow analytics.”

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service or taking requested pre-contract steps, our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, consent for optional analytics and reminders, and legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw a consent choice without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Optional public-page analytics

Microsoft Clarity is offered only on public pages and is loaded only after you allow it. It helps us understand page visits, scrolling and where people get stuck. We do not send Clarity your email address or household answers, and the recorder is stopped before the assessment, results, dashboard or payment experience. Declining does not change the product.

Where the data goes

  • Cloudflare provides the website, Worker API, encrypted database storage, queues and operational logs.
  • AppCradle Auth provides passwordless account and session management.
  • Dodo Payments hosts checkout and processes payment and refund information.
  • Microsoft Clarity receives public-page usage data only after analytics consent.

These providers may process information in more than one country. Their own privacy terms govern information they collect directly, such as payment details. We do not sell household answers, rent them to data brokers, or share them with insurers, lenders or investment sellers.

How we protect it

Financial answers and email addresses stored in MoneyMap's product database are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. Private API requests require an active AppCradle Auth session and are checked against household membership. Operational identifiers, rules versions, action status and timestamps remain readable so the service can function. Encryption lowers risk but no internet service can promise absolute security.

How long we keep it

Saved household and plan data remains until you delete it or the service must remove it. The separate sign-in identity remains until a secure account-deletion request is completed. Payment, consent, fraud-prevention and dispute records may be kept as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, security, legal claims or applicable law. Infrastructure logs and backups follow the providers' operational retention cycles and may take time to expire after deletion.

Your choices and requests

  • Edit incorrect household facts by updating the assessment.
  • Download the MoneyMap data connected to your household from the dashboard.
  • Delete MoneyMap's saved financial and product data from the dashboard.
  • Ask us to delete the separate AppCradle Auth identity by emailing from the account address.
  • Decline optional analytics or change the choice above.
  • Turn reminders on or off independently.
  • Ask for access, correction, restriction, portability or objection where your local law provides those rights.

We may need to verify the request before acting. If you believe a request was mishandled, you may also contact the data-protection authority available where you live.

Children and other household members

MoneyMap accounts are for adults aged 18 or older. An adult can record a relationship and age band for a child or dependant, but should not enter their name, contact details, medical information or other identifying data.

Changes

We will update the effective date and this page when our practices change materially. This notice describes the product as it operates today; it is not a claim that a lawyer or regulator has certified MoneyMap.

Short version

Your email and financial answers are used to save and calculate your plan. Saved answers are encrypted. No bank login or identity-document number is requested. No household answer is sold. Public analytics is optional.
