One engine, country-specific rules

The shared deterministic engine validates inputs, calculates metrics, evaluates seven internal pillars and orders risks. The selected country ruleset supplies thresholds, terminology, local checks, assumptions and official sources.

A 500-article breadth audit

MoneyMap read 500 distinct qualifying personal-finance articles containing 1,082,888 extracted words from 14 publishers across India, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Publisher sitemaps supplied URLs; thin pages, access challenges, non-articles, duplicate URLs and duplicate extracted-content fingerprints were excluded. Metadata, topic tags, word counts and content fingerprints were retained, but article bodies were not.

The audit produced 36 topic tags that map to a visible 15-area coverage map. Article frequency does not set risk priority and blog claims do not become financial rules.

Risk state and breadth are separate

The three-minute scan checks immediate household cash flow, shock capacity, protection, debt and goals. Optional follow-ups add retirement, investing, tax and benefits, property, estate continuity, family care, fraud, cross-border money and document reviews. Missing information stays unknown rather than becoming a hidden zero.

Household-aware inputs

Relationship, broad age band, earning role, financial dependency and health-cover status are recorded without names or inferred medical needs. These roles affect the explanation and planning scenarios.

Planning assumptions

Emergency-fund and life-cover values are starting scenarios, not adequacy verdicts. Goal checkpoints assume no investment return or inflation until those assumptions are explicitly collected.

Versioning and review

Every finding records its engine, country ruleset and source references. Saved plans are recalculated when either version changes, while completed action status is preserved.
